Many players in the Fortnite community would like to see more stats available in the lobby. Some stats that could be incorporated into Fortnite could range from weapons, landing at different POI’s, teammate revives, and many more.
Reddit user Hootiii has come up with a concept on how combat records can be introduced to Fortnite.
As seen above, there would be a new tab added called ‘Combat Record’, which shows the stats of weapons, traps and consumables. As illustrated in the GIF above, once an item has been selected to view, there are two different options the player can view different stats, ‘Stats’ and ‘Personal’.
In the ‘Stats’ tab on weapons, players will be able to see Damage, DPS, Fire Rate, Magazine Size, Reload Time and Impact. This will be a very useful tool for players to be able to compare different stats of guns and study them more. It could also help them to decide which guns they should use to finish players, depending on the situation.
In the ‘Personal’ tab, players will be able to see the Games used, Overall Damage, Eliminations and Accuracy. This will help players to evaluate the guns they use and how effective they are at using these weapons.
Players will also be able to see all the weapons that are in the game and can see the different rarities they are available in. Having the stats available for each weapon will make it a lot easier for players to compare and decide which weapons they should keep in their inventory and which ones to swap out if a better one is found.
We can see that there tabs for each type of weapon, Assault Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns, Pistols, Snipers, Explosive Weapons, Crossbows, Traps and Consumables. Some of these weapons could have more stats added, i.e. Snipers would show the longest range an enemy has been killed/downed.
