Here’s where you can find the downed black helicopter to complete one of the Fortnite Foreshadowing Challenges.
We are now nearing the end of the season in Fortnite Battle Royale with only two weeks left of Season 6. Epic have decided to release a new set of challenges, called the Foreshadowing Challenges, which has a total of 5 challenges to complete, all of which can be seen by clicking here.
Two of these challenges will be released at 3pm BST / 10am ET, which are the “repair damaged telescopes” challenge and the “investigate downed black helicopter” challenge. This article will show you where and how to complete the second challenge.
Where is the downed Black Helicopter in Fortnite?
In order to complete this challenge, all you will need to do is locate the black helicopter. You will find the helicopter northwest of Misty Meadows, southwest of Lazy Lake. We have marked the exact location on the map below:
When you see the helicopter, simply interact with it to complete the challenge and get an easy 24,000 XP. The description for the challenge reads, “Someone’s been flyin’ low and scaring my corn. Look into it would ya? India Oscar? Yeah, that don’t fool me. I know IO when I see it.”
The Foreshadowing Challenges have been released by Epic it seems to lead up to Season 7, with the hint that there will be aliens in the next season. How this will play into the Fortnite storyline is yet to be seen. These challenges will only be available this season, so be sure to complete them as soon as possible to earn as much XP you can to complete the Season 6 Battle Pass.
