We had previously reported that the Freeze Trap item would be coming to Fortnite Battle Royale in the v6.01 update, as hinted by Epic, and now it looks the in-game newsfeed has been updated to show the following:
Chiller – “Hello Ice, goodbye friction!”
This item will be coming to Fortnite Battle Royale in the v6.01 update and we know it will be of Epic rarity, due to leaks. Epic tend to add items to Fortnite to keep the game interesting and different. There were many items that were vaulted coming into Season 6, which could be due to Epic having ideas of many other items to add. It will be interesting to see how this item impacts gameplay and how effective it will be against opponents.
