Here are all of the seven challenges you need to complete for Week 5 of Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1.
There are new challenges released every week in Fortnite Battle Royale for players to complete and upon completion, players will be awarded 25,000 XP for each challenge. The challenges are usually quite simple and straightforward, however there may be some challenges where you might need a guide to see how to complete them quickly. Completing challenges is a quick and easy way to gain XP and earn Battle Stars to purchase cosmetics from this seasons Battle Pass.
Fortnite Week 5 Challenges
Here are the seven challenges you need to complete for Week 5 of Fortnite. You can click on the challenges that are bold and underlined for a more detailed guide on how to complete them if you need some help.
- Build structures at Coney Crossroads, Sleepy Sound, and Condo Canyon (3)
- Claim an abandoned tent (1)
- Drive a vehicle through water (1)
- Knock down Timber Pines (5)
- Gain shields using a Shield Keg (100)
- Teleport using Rift Generators at different Seven Outposts (3)
- Destroy structures with Motorboat Missiles (15)
The first challenge is to build structures at Coney Crossroads, Sleepy Sound, and Condo Canyon and all of these locations are named on the map. Condo Canyon is the furthest away from the other two POI’s so we would recommend you to drop at Condo Canyon, built a wall, and then leave the game and build structures at the other two locations if you want to complete the challenge quickly.
The second challenge requires you to claim an abandoned tent and this can easily be done by going to Shifty Shafts as you will usually find tents in the south of the location and when you go to the tent, all you need to do is go close to the tent where you should see “Claim (Player name)’s abandoned tent. Simply interact with it to complete the challenge.
The third challenge is to drive a vehicle through water, which is self explanatory and easy to complete. The next challenge is to knock down Timber Pines and you will need to knock 5 pines in order to complete the challenge. The next challenge is to gain shields by using a Shield Keg. You can easily complete this challenge by going to an NPC that sells it. We would recommend going to Lt. John Llama Character to buy the Shield Kegs for 250 Gold Bars. In order to complete the challenge, you will need to 100 shield from the Keg, which means you should not take any form of shields before buying the item as it gives you 100 shield from one. Another challenge you need to complete for this week is to teleport using Rift Generators at different Seven Outposts and we have created a guide on where you can find the Outposts and how to easily complete this challenge which you can see by clicking here. The last challenge is to destroy structures with Motorboat Missiles and you will need to destroy 15 in order to complete this challenge.
