Here are all of the locations / points for the ‘Visit the 5 highest elevations on the island’ Fornite Season 8, Week 6 Challenge.
The Fortnite Season 8, Week 6 challenges will go live soon, however, the challenges were leaked ahead of time and are unlikely to change. One of the challenges requires players to visit the 5 highest elevations on the island.
After last week’s v8.20 patch update, players noticed signs in several locations on the Fortnite map. These signs have a number and an upwards arrow on them, the number stating how high the point is.
Players need to visit 5 of the highest elevations on the island, and we’ve visited them and taken screenshots of each elevation point as well as creating a map at the very bottom of the post to help you complete the challenge faster.
Visit the 5 highest elevations on the island location points
Volcano highest elevation
One of the 5 highest elevation points on the island / map is on top of the Volcano located south west of Sunny Steps. It might be best to land in the volcano and get a weapon just in case. You’ll be able to fly back up once you’re in the volcano.
Polar Peak highest elevation
Polar Peak is another location that boasts one of highest elevation points on the island. The sign can be found at the very top of the castle as shown below.
Submarine highest elevation
You’ll find an elevation number sign on the submarine that can be found east of Frosty Flights.
South of Pleasant Park highest elevation
Drop at the second mountain south of Pleasant Park to find another highest elevation sign. The sign can be found towards the south west side of the mountain.
North of Viking Village highest elevation
You’ll find the final elevation point north of Viking Village, or directly west of the mountain shown in the previous elevation point. If you have enough material, simply build across from the previous elevation point, or drop down and build up to the mountain.
The best way to complete the visit the 5 highest elevations on the island challenge would be to drop and get to the highest elevations in the snow biome, followed by the mountains near Pleasant Park, leaving the volcano point last as it’s the furthest away.
You simply need to walk anywhere near the sign in order to successfully visit one of the highest elevation points.
