New challenges are released every Thursday in Fortnite with four challenges only available to Battle Pass players and the other three challenges can be completed by Free Pass players as well. You will need to complete all challenges in the week to unlock a loading screen for the Road Trip Challenges. As it will be week 7, this is the final week of the Road Trip Challenges, meaning the Road Trip skin will be available to unlock on Thursday when the challenges are live. Free Pass Challenges
- Visit the center of Named Locations in a single match (4)
- Search Supply Drops (3)
- SMG Eliminations (HARD)(3)
Battle Pass Challenges
- Deal headshot damage to opponents (500)
- Search chests in Lucky Landing (7)
- Follow the treasure map found in Pleasant Park (HARD) (1)
- Eliminate opponents in Lazy Links (HARD) (3)
The files at the moment are showing the challenges above, but it is likely that the headshot damage challenge will be changed as this was a challenge for week 6.
In Season 4, we saw a similar challenge where players need to visit the center of named locations in one match in Week 9, so this challenge isn’t necessarily new. The easiest way to complete this challenge would be to visit POI’s that are close to each other on the map.
Lucky Landing and Lazy Links will be the busiest POI’s this week, as the there will be the searching chest in Lucky Landing challenge and eliminate opponents in Lazy Links challenge. It’s best to familiarize yourselves with where loot can be found in Lazy Links so you can get a weapon quickly before opponents and get into a good position.
Following treasure maps is a classic challenge that we see being rotated in the weekly challenges quite often. We will have a guide on the location of the Battle Star as soon as the challenges go live on Thursday.
