Snowfall challenges have been introduced this season and the loading screen for week 2 contains a clue to a hidden banner.
This season Epic have introduced the Snowfall Challenges to replace the Hunting Party Challenges from last season. Completing a full weeks worth of weekly challenges will unlock a different loading screen each week. The loading screens are unlocked in the same order, regardless of which weeks challenges you complete. You will unlock the following loading screen once you have completed two weeks of challenges:
The loading screens not only tell the Snowfall story, but it also gives a clue as to where you can find a hidden object somewhere on the Fortnite map. Last season, the hidden object would alternate each week from a Battle Star and a Banner. As this is the second week of Season 7, we do not know yet it Epic will be adding another object for players to find..
The loading screen for Snowfall Week 2 contains a hidden Banner in the image, which we have highlighted in the image below:
The location of the hidden Banner can be found in Frosty Flights, as can be seen in the image below:
The exact location can be seen in the mini map in the top right, which is also at the top right of the POI. The Banner will only be visible to players that have completed all the challenges and have unlocked the second loading screen from the Snowfall challenges.
There are eleven Snowfall Challenges this season as Epic have announced that this season is extended, due to the holidays. In the past, players would need to complete seven weeks worth of challenges in order to unlock the mystery skin, but this season players are only required to complete 60 weekly challenges in order to receive the skin. This makes it easier for players to acquire the mystery Snowfall skin as there are ten more challenges available this season and full weeks challenges do not need to be completed.
