The MOTD has been updated in Fortnite to show that the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle is coming soon to the game.
Epic add a new item/weapon in every update and they are usually announced via the in-game MOTD. In last weeks update, the Tactical Shotgun was added in both Epic and Legendary rarities. The description of this weapon reads, “Get up close and personal with the new Epic and Legendary variants of the Tactical Shotgun!”
The MOTD has just been updated to show that the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle is coming soon to Fortnite Battle Royale and the description reads, “Knowledge is power. Stay ahead of the competition with this weather-tracking sniper rifle.”
This will be added in the next update but the date and time of the update has not been announced as yet. This weapon had in fact been leaked by data-miners in the v7.40 update and Storm Shield One had leaked the stats of the weapon as seen below.
According to data-miners, the weapon will be available in both Epic and Legendary rarities.
