UPDATE: Reddit user Internetadam has posted a new post regarding season 4:
- The meteor will be hitting Dusty Depot, and NOT Tilted Towers as so many believe. Epic has thought this area of the map has needed an update for a long time.
- The map will always be evolving. The map will be updated WEEKLY in Season 4. Epic feels like they had a wasted opportunity with Tilted Towers going up all at once. They would rather have had bulldozers & a few raising cranes one week, then one building go up the next week, two buildings the following week, etc.
- Moisty Mire will be gone by the end of Season 4.
- The Season 4 Battle Pass is all Supehero-themed. There will be superhero skins and villain skins (at least 2 of each). They aren’t from Marvel or DC, just Epic’s own characters.
I really want my spoiler about Season 5 to happen, so I’m going to wait a bit longer before I post about it.
Epic seemed to have surprised everyone with the tease of the Superhero theme for Season 4, however Reddit user internetadam knew of the theme before the tease was released on the official Fortnite Twitter account.
It was also mentioned that the map will be updating/evolving and we have seen this happening in the past couple of days. The first change that was noticed was the rooftops of one of the buildings situated in Tilted Towers.
There were four signs that were spotted on the rooftop that seem to hint at Aliens:
After this, the TV’s all across the Fortnite map seemed to be emitting a Siren sound with an Emergency Broadcast.
The Reddit post also mentions that Dusty Depot will be the Meteor’s target instead of Tilted Towers, which has previously been the most popular theory by fans so far.
As he has accurately guessed the Superhero theme for Season 4 before anyone was aware of Epic’s plans and also reported that the map will be updating, it seems more than likely that Dusty Depot will be getting hit instead of Tilted Towers.
Tilted Towers has been the most popular place for players to land since it was added to the map, but with Dusty Depot being a possible target, Epic could be changing and improving this area to make it a more desirable place to land.
We could be seeing a Fortnite Map Version 3.0 coming into Season 4.
