The Suppressed Assault Rifle was added into Fortnite Battle Royale on Tuesday as part of the v5.40 content update, and several players are put the two weapons head-to-head to find out the best overall gun.
Reddit user QuadronTV created a video comparing both the Suppressed AR and SCAR on full auto, tap firing, damage over distance and tap firing over distance. The overall result found that the SCAR is the better overall gun at close range, with the full auto bloom more accurare whereas the Suppressed AR had the better DPS at long range, and needs to be fired in a 5 round burst or the bloom gets out of hand.
