Season 5, Week 5 is here, which means we are halfway through the season already! The official challenges for Fortnite Battle Royale release every week on Thursdays. We will be releasing tips and marked maps for relevant challenges shortly to help complete the challenges. You can see the official challenges below:
Free Pass Challenges
Free Pass Challenges- Search chests in Junk Junction (7)
- Use Rift Portals (3)
- Eliminate opponents in a single match (HARD) (3)
Battle Pass Challenges
- Deal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or Grenade (300)
- Hit a golf ball from tee to green on different holes (5)
- Follow the treasure map found in Snobby Shores (HARD) (1)
- Eliminate opponents in Shifty Shafts (HARD) (3)
Junk Junction and Shifty Shafts will be the busiest POIs this week, so make sure you get a weapon quickly and know where you need to drop! We will be releasing a map of where you can find treasure chests in Junk Junction shortly, so you can find them quickly and finish the challenge quickly. It is important to note that the map will show all possible treasure chest locations, but the chests do not spawn 100% of the time and spawns are completely random. You will be able to see the glow of the chest and will be able to hear a noise when you are close, so you will know if one has spawned in that particular location.
We will be releasing a map, showing the different locations you can complete the ‘Hit a golf ball from tee to green on different holes’ challenge and also possible rift locations for the ‘Use Rift Portals’ challenge. We will mark the exact location of the Battle Star for the ‘Follow the treasure map found in Snobby Shores’ challenge on the map and will also have a video of the location to help you.
When you have completed all the challenges and have completed all the challenges in previous weeks, you will unlock the loading screen for Road Trip #5. We will be revealing the exact location of where you can find this hidden Battle Star on the Fortnite map. You will only be able to see the Battle Star once you have completed all challenges.
