Here’s the location where you’ll find the Haunted Forest where you’ll need to search a chest.
We have a brand new set of challenge for Fortnitemares 2019 which includes XP rewards and a new umbrella for completing one of the challenges. There’s also a new LTM for the Halloween event called “Storm King”.
There’s a total of six challenges for Fortnitemares, but there are more challenges for creative called “Creative Curse” that’ll provide players with a bunch of XP and cosmetic rewards.
One of the Fortnitemares challenges requires players to search a chest in a haunted forst, a ghost town, and a spooky farm. There are locations on the map that have been rethemed for the event. We’ll be going over the location of the haunted forest in this article, but we’ll have links to the other two locations at the bottom of the post. UPDATE: We’ve added a link tothe ghost town location at the bottom of the post.
Where to search a chest in a haunted forest Fortnite Location
As expected, Epic have added some Halloween decorations around the map and have rethemed some of the locations that were already in the game. Epic also did this for the last Fortnitemares event.
The haunted forest can be located near the middle of the map. There’s not much of a redesign for the location. There’s a witch on one of the buildings and other Halloween decorations scattered around, but it seems Epic didn’t make much effort with it.
It’s was quite obvious to guess where the location of the haunted forest would be considering there’s a large woody area on the map. Here’s where you’ll find the haunted forest:
Yes, that’s correct. You can search a chest anywhere in Weeping Woods in order to complete part 1 of 3 for this Fortnitemares challenges.
There’s a ton of locations of chests in this location, so it shouldn’t be hard to quickly find one and search it.
