The v7.20 Fortnite update placed a sphere of ice above Polar Peak, containing the Ice King and an Ice Storm event should be taking place later today. Here’s everything you need to know.

Update: You can see Ice Storm challenges and rewards here
In the v7.20 Fortnite update, a sphere of ice was added above Polar Peak, containing the Ice King. The leaks in the v7.20 suggested an event would be taking place with weather signs and event sounds leaked by data-miners.
On Wednesday, the TVs around the map turned on with the weather warnings that were leaked. A day later, the image on the TV changed to include a countdown, where there is likely to be an event and the end of timer. Yesterday, the ice sphere changed to a clock, counting down the 24 hours until the event.
All LTMs have been removed from the game mode list, including playground mode and users were reporting that their playlist changed to include “Ice Storm” as seen below:
The Ice Storm Event is thought to work like the Fortnitemares Event, where players would be killing fiends in the game and there are also Ice Storm Challenges that have been leaked, which you can view here. @Ta5tyy has found the fiends in the game files:
