The in-game newsfeed has been updated in Fortnite Battle Royale to showcase a new item that will be coming soon, the Poison Trap.
Epic Games add new items to Fortnite Battle Royale on a regular basis in order to keep the game fresh and entertaining. The in-game newsfeed has been updated to show the Poison Trap item will be coming soon.
The description reads, “It’s a Poison Trap! Watch your step lest you trigger a trap!”
The Poison Trap item has previously been teased in the week 3 loading screen for the Discovery challenges, as seen below. Data-miners had found a folder called “PosionDartTrap”, hinting that it would be coming soon.
Yesterday, the in-game newsfeed has been updated to show that there will a new Limited Time Mode (LTM) coming, called ‘The Floor is Lava’. Both the LTM and the Poison Trap item will most likely be coming to the game on Wednesday 27th March, for the v8.20 update, providing no issues are found before release.
