Fortnite chapter 2 has finally concluded. The End finale event took place and we are now waiting on the release of Chapter 3. The chapter 3 Battle Pass trailer was leaked last night which provided an insight into what we would get in the new season.
Not only do we have a brand new map for the new chapter with three different biomes, we have the brand new Battle Pass and two major features, camping and the sliding mechanic.
The sliding mechanic was teased in a trailer that was released a couple of weeks ago. It was also leaked by popular data-miner Hypex a couple of months before anything was teased or leaked by an insider.
Are the Fortnite Servers Down?
Now that the event has concluded, The Fortnite servers ARE currently down for scheduled maintenance as we wait for the new chapter to release. Here’s when the servers will be back up.
When Will the Servers be Back Up?
The screen that appeared after the event has a countdown timer for when the new season begins. Much like the black hole event that concluded the Fortnite chapter 1 The Finale event, there is no idea when downtime will end.
