There’s a chance we could be getting a Master Chief Fortnite skin if recent leaks are correct.
Epic Games launch Fortnite chapter 2 season 5 yesterday with a brand new battle pass, the crew subscription, a number of map changes including the return of Tilted Towers, gold bars, NPCs that provide challenges, and more.
Data-miners also leaked a brand new starter pack for season 5 along with a few Christmas skins including the Ginger Renegade skin. PlayStation players also noticed an early ad on the PlayStation store which confirms Kratos will be coming to Fortnite.

PlayStation put out a teaser audio which described Kratos, but unfortunately for them, the PS store ad revealed the upcoming Kratos skin before they could announce it themselves. There’s no information as to when the skin will be available, nor do we know if it’ll be a PlayStation exclusive, free for PS Plus users, or whether everyone will be able to purchase it in the item shop.
A new leak today suggests we could be getting a Halo x Fortnite collaboration which will include a Master Chief Fortnite skin along with an LTM. Here’s what we know.
Master Chief Fortnite Skin
According to leaker mang0e, the Master Chief skin was leaked by someone that correctly posted about the release of Salty Towers and the Mandalorian mythic items and weapons in season 5.
The description of Master Chief in Fortnite according to leaks is “Master Chief petty officer John 117”. Here’s a look at the potential Halo skin:

There’s a couple of other Halo-themed Fortnite cosmetics including the Unsc Pelican glider and Lil’ Warthog cosmetic.

According to FNBRUnreleased, the Halo x Fortnite collaboration wouldn’t end there. Leaks suggest there will be a Fortnite tournament event with a capture the flag LTM, but there’s no further information.
If this was leaked before the Kratos teaser, I wouldn’t believe it in a million years. However, it seems like Epic are really putting work into their metaverse with the Mandalorian skin, the upcoming Kratos skin, and now potentially a Master Chief skin.
What will be interesting is who Jonesy decides to bring in as a hunter next. If this Halo collaboration is real, I wouldn’t rule out some sort of Mario crossover.
