The servers are live and Season 7 of Fortnite Battle Royale is here. Epic seem to have gone all out this season with new features including Fortnite Creative, substantial map changes and two new ways to move around the map, the new X-4 Stormwing Plane and the zipline. Here is footage of both of them in action:
Dogfights are going to be EPIC this season!

The X-4 Stormwing Plane definitely seems like an interesting addition. As you can see from the Reddit video, dogfights are going to be very fun and will take some skill to master. It’ll be interesting to see how many players jump out of their plane to attempt getting into an opponents plane and killing them in the process.

Ziplines can be found around the Fortnite map, allowing players to move from area to area much quicker. Whilst using zip lines, players are still able to shoot opponents. There have already been a number of players voicing their opinion on the amount of zip lines there are around the map so we’ll have to see if Epic decide to reduce the amount in the future.

There are a few issues that have been discovered and Epic are aware of these issues. Some of the issues include:
- Losing the ability to sprint if you emote while riding on a Zipline.
- There are inconsistencies with player character models while on Ziplines.
- Players may sometimes fall from the Zipline under certain network conditions or if structures are built close to a Zipline whilst a player is on it.
